Simone Pepe is hopeful that Juventus will benefit from not having played in midweek when they face Sampdoria on Sunday.
Doria had to endure extra time and penalties to defeat Udinese in the Coppa Italia on Wednesday, while Juve relaxed after defeating Catania in the same competition a week earlier.
"It's rare that we have a full week to prepare for a match without having to play in midweek," the midfield noted.
"It's unusual, but we have prepared for the game well and we hope to take advantage of this break.
"I saw Sampdoria in action and they did well," the Italian international added. "On Sunday we'll face a team with important players and one which can count on the support of their fans.
"In order to win we'll need to play the perfect game."
Juventus and Sampdoria drew 3-3 in Turin earlier on in the campaign, a match that the midfielder remembers well.
"I scored my first goal for Juventus in that game, now I hope to net my fourth in the League…"
