Borriello sets sights on Scudetto

Roma striker Marco Borriello claims he thrives on the level of competition at the club and sees no reason why his team can't win the Scudetto.

The 28-year-old Italy international has scored 14 goals in 26 games for Roma this season and is firmly established as the team's No 1 striker.

"I score with continuity and the team wins. It's normal then that everyone wants to play.

"Anyway for me it's a great pleasure to play with players like Totti, Vucinic, Adriano and Menez.

"Since the beginning I said that Roma must fight for the Scudetto.

"It will not be easy because Inter have put themselves back on the wagon.

"They have been doing very well since Leonardo arrived.

"The pressure is frightening, but we will play to be in it until the end."
