Giuseppe Sculli is set for his Lazio debut after the transfer from Genoa. “I think I can bring strength and vivaciousness to an already solid squad.”
The versatile forward had also received interest from Juventus and in the summer was on the verge of joining Inter.
“I am very happy to have come to Lazio, who are a great side and a great club,” he said.
“I think I can bring strength and vivaciousness to an already solid squad. I've been training regularly and am ready to give my contribution.”
Coach Edy Reja hinted Sculli will start this afternoon's Serie A match against Bologna.
“My tactical position won't be a problem, seeing as I can play in more or less any area of the attack.
“I am still not at peak fitness, as three months out with a muscular injury is a lot for the body to deal with, but I've put that behind me. In around a week I'll be 100 per cent.”
