Galliani hints at more signings

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has hinted that the club could make more signings before the January transfer window closes.

Ajax full-back Urby Emanuelson joined at the weekend and his name might not be the last added to Milan's squad this winter.

"Well, we'll see, we'll see," Galliani told the Milan Channel.

"There is still a week left. We won't throw it away."

Reflecting on last night's 2-0 victory over Cesena, he said: "We suffered until the last despite having created 10 goal scoring chances, but if we think about it we won with a midfield composed of Ambrosini, Merkel and Thiago Silva who reminded me of Marcel Desailly.

"The only flaw of the evening is the injury to Alessandro Nesta. He'll be out for two or three weeks and in this period it means he'll miss six or seven games.

"However, seeing the results of some of our rivals, it's a great victory."
