Roma have turned down an offer from Fiorentina for Matteo Brighi, the player's agent has revealed.
The midfielder has been associated with a variety of sides this January after again impressing for the Giallorossi when given the chance to feature.
However, the capital club have always insisted that Brighi is not for sale and they have reiterated that stance to the Viola.
"Brighi is not leaving Roma and the club have yet again made that clear," agent Vanni Puzzolo told TMW.
"In the last few hours Fiorentina made another enquiry for him, but Roma responded by underlining how important the player is to boss Claudio Ranieri."
