Catania boss Diego Simeone has brought in yet another Argentine, signing Gonzalo Bergessio from French outfit Saint-Etienne.

The 26-year-old has put pen to paper on a contract until 2014.

He becomes the 12th Argentine on Catania's first team squad.

Bergessio has often featured as a substitute for Saint-Etienne this season.

The lanky striker is also yet to get off the mark in 2010-11.
