Amauri hopes to get back to his best after leaving Parma for Juventus on deadline day.
It's no secret that Juventus wanted the 30-year-old to move on after a very disappointing two and a half seasons in Turin.
He has since been replaced in black and white by Cagliari striker Alessandro Matri.
Interviewed in Tuttosport, Amauri said: "I am enthusiastic about this chance.
"I hope that the unlucky period, which has influenced my first half of the season, finally ends.
"What upsets me the most in leaving Juventus is not being able to show what I am worth.
"But I will rise again at Parma."
