'No doubts' over Juve penalty error

President of the Referees' Association Marcello Nicchi admits “there are no doubts over the mistake” in denying Juventus a penalty last night.

The Bianconeri were furious after their 2-1 defeat to Palermo, as Cesare Bovo clearly handled in the box, but referee Emidio Morganti waved play on.

“We are used to the fact there are good days and worse days,” commented AIA President Nicchi.

“Clearly last night not everything went smoothly and there are no doubts over the mistake from Morganti.

“Whether he will be suspended from duty for a few games is not down to me, but the commissioner.”
