Samp fans demand Di Carlo axe

Sampdoria fans have released a statement to the Press demanding the dismissal of Coach Domenico Di Carlo.

In what is not an unprecedented move for Italian ultras, the Blucerchiati supporters sent an open letter to the media.

“We demand the dismissal of Coach Di Carlo, as this is the only thing that can shake up a team without motivation.

“We also protest at the club hierarchy containing Genoa supporters in key roles. However, we do urge all fans to support the team until safety is achieved.”

There have been recent protests against President Riccardo Garrone after the January sale of Antonio Cassano and Giampaolo Pazzini.

Sampdoria play against on-form Udinese in the 17.00 UK time kick-off this evening.

Meanwhile, the same ultra group was accused of attacking three journalists during a television programme about Sampdoria on Thursday evening.
