Fiorentina's young centre-back Michele Camporese says that his side need to get to 40 points as soon as possible in Serie A.
The 18-year-old is due to play for the Italy Under-21s this afternoon when they face England in Empoli.
"I must once again thank Pantaleo Corvino and one of my coaches, Buso, for teaching me to impose myself," he said.
"It has been fundamental.
"I want to concentrate on my football. Sinisa Mihajlovic has given me a great opportunity, throwing me in during difficult game. My debut was at San Siro against Ibra.
"We have to get to 40 points as soon as possible. It's useless to talk about anything else. We need more character and ruthlessness in our play. But we'll get out of this situation. We are doing well at home."
Fiorentina currently have 29 points and therefore need 11 from their remaining 15 games.
