Cavani: 'Napoli won't settle for third'

Edinson Cavani claims Napoli aren't prepared to settle for a third place finish in Serie A this season.

The Uruguay international's 18 goals this season have kept Napoli in title contention.

Interviewed in Il Corriere dello Sport, he said: "I like to dream with my eyes open.

"It's beautiful to do and I want to continue doing it. I wouldn't settle for third place."

Asked to reveal what has changed about his game, Cavani replied: "Probably the position.

"The chance to play closer to goal and to have more chances. Then there is the confidence and the respect I felt from the first moment.

"When I left for the World Cup in the summer, I left everything in the Lord's hands and I knew God would put me in the right place."
