Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has warned Real Madrid off making a bid for Edinson Cavani.

The 23-year-old Uruguay international striker has scored 27 goals in all competitions this season.

Reports in the Spanish media over the weekend suggested that Real Madrid are considering making an offer worth €50m for Cavani in the summer.

"The question shouldn't even be asked because the player is unsellable," De Laurentiis said.

Asked to describe how he would react if Real Madrid did make such a big offer, he joked: "I would respond by blowing them a raspberry."
