The latest indications from UEFA are that Rino Gattuso will receive a five-match ban for unsportsmanlike conduct after his clash with Joe Jordan.
Gattuso was seen to raise his arms at the Tottenham assistant manager during the first leg of Milan's Champions League knock-out match on Tuesday evening.
He sought out Jordan again after the final whistle and attempted to head-butt the Scot.
UEFA plan to meet and discuss the incident on Monday with a view to meting out a punishment for Gattuso.
La Gazzetta dello Sport understands a four-match ban is probable, but an even lengthier suspension is also likely.
Even if Milan do overturn the 1-0 defeat they suffered in the first leg, it's would appear that Gattuso's season in the Champions League could be over.
