Roma fans in protest

Disgruntled Roma supporters have made their feelings known at the club's training ground following last night's defeat to Shakhtar Donetsk.

Roma went ahead at the Stadio Olimpico but lost 3-2 leaving Claudio Ranieri's side with a mountain to climb at the Donbas Arena in two weeks' time.

It was the third defeat on the bounce for Roma and sparked yet more talk of a crisis at the club.

Last night Claudio Ranieri revealed that he "absolutely hadn't thought about resigning."

Around 50 fans arrived at Trigoria to unveil banners showing their unhappiness.

They asked Roma to "show their balls" and stop being "unworthy" of the shirt.
