Pasquale Marino is heading for the axe at Parma with Walter Zenga ready to take over. “Ask the President, not me.”
The Coach was subjected to angry protests at the Tardini today after a disappointing 2-2 draw with fellow relegation strugglers Cesena.
“Is Zenga going to replace me? I don't know anything about that. You should ask the President, not me,” he told RAI Sport.
“I just focus on carrying on my work. I think the draw was a harsh result considering the performance, as Cesena took the lead with their first chance.
“We hoped to win today and deserved to, but unfortunately we couldn't manage it. I don't think we are having a campaign below our capabilities, as we always talked about achieving safety in a relaxed fashion. We never talked about other objectives.”
