Carlo Ancelotti insists that he has no intention to quit Chelsea in light of poor results and the Roma job becoming available.
The 51-year-old is under pressure again after his side were knocked out of the FA Cup on penalties by Everton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Chelsea currently lie fifth in the Premier League and have only won one of their last five games in all competitions.
Ancelotti has never hidden his desire to train Roma and the resignation of Claudio Ranieri presents the former Coach of Milan with the opportunity of a lifetime.
Speaking to the Press ahead of Tuesday's Champions League clash with FC Copenhagen, Ancelotti was asked if he had ever considered tendering his resignation.
"No, not me," he replied.
"I don't have to consider my position. It is the owner that has to do that, not myself."
