Genoa boss Davide Ballardini claims the secret of his success at the club is that he speaks little and listens a lot.
The Grifone have enjoyed an excellent week in Serie A, winning the Derby della Lanterna and then coming back from 3-0 down to beat Roma 4-3.
"I am made this way," Ballardini told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "I should be less of an unsociable bear, but it's difficult to transform myself.
"How can I complain when I have such a privileged job and I work for a club like Genoa with a great stadium and great fans? They are extraordinarily strong emotions.
"I can only be grateful to those people who have given me the opportunity to coach in Serie A. I want to show my work, but without a hurry.
"The objective is to build a mentality with a team, which is growing.
"Here there is treasure: I am thinking about Alessio Scarpi and Emiliano Moretti, real team players, or Chico, Luca Antonelli and Mauro Boselli, who we await with curiosity, and Mattia Destro.
"I see them working and having fun, and I see real men, like Eduardo, someone who has been a pleasure to defend.
"I have spoken little and listened a lot."
