Giampaolo Pazzini says he will be emotional on his return to Sampdoria this weekend when Inter travel to Marassi.
The Italy international striker played his best football in a two-year spell with the Blucerchiati.
He left Sampdoria unexpectedly during the January transfer window.
Interviewed by Il Corriere Mercantile, Pazzini said: "It will be a very special game for me.
"I spent two splendid years in Genova. As soon as I arrive at the stadium on the bus, the emotion will be big.
"I won't celebrate if I score.
"I want to win everything with Inter, who have been very welcoming, and then return to Sampdoria.
"I wouldn't mind that. Who knows, one day in the future…"
