Despite protests and poor results, Parma director general Pietro Leonardi insists “there's no reason to change” management.
The fans are calling for the dismissal of Coach Pasquale Marino after notching up two points from the last five rounds.
“The team is following the Coach and trusts him, just as we do. There's no reason to change,” commented Leonardi.
The entire squad has gone into a pre-match training camp in Fiuggi to better prepare for Sunday's clash with Roma.
“This is a constructive training camp and not a punitive one. There is much bitterness in us, because this team has great quality, but you have to play well in order to win. We need consistency.
“We've got to show more determination and work rate. Quality alone is not enough.”
