Parma striker Amauri is confident that his struggling side can get a result at Roma in Week 27.
The Gialloblu are hovering dangerously close to the relegation zone after collecting just two points from the last 15 available.
However, the Italian international, a January loan signing from Juventus, is adamant that they can avoid defeat in the capital.
"I believe we can do well," he said. "I want to show people that we can end the championship in good shape.
"We're currently struggling to turn our performances into points, so we have to become uglier to watch in order to become more concrete."
Parma left it late last weekend to salvage a 2-2 draw against Cesena, a result which has increased the pressure on boss Pasquale Marino.
"It's important to turn over the page and start again from the fact that we have never given up in the past few games," Amauri added.
"We showed it last Sunday against Cesena, drawing a game that seemed as if it had already been lost.
"Roma will be favoured by the fact that they are the home side and because they have many champions who they can field, but we are going there to defy the odds."
