Parma striker Amauri insists that he needed a change in order to rediscover his best form.
The 31-year-old, on loan from Juventus, scored twice against Roma on Sunday to earn his side a point.
His first was quite breathtaking as he managed to back-heel the ball on the half volley past Doni.
Amauri has come in for a lot of stick this season after again failing to find his scoring boots at Juventus.
However, since his loan move to the Ennio Tardini in January he has scored three in five games.
"It's true, I am happy but I don't want to talk about my former team," he said.
"I want to keep scoring a flood of goals. I want to show what I know how to do and give everything.
"At times you need to change something in order to start turning things around.
"I am happy. I feel good. I have suffered many injuries. I have played little.
"Now I have found continuity."
