Gaetano D'Agostino is expected to be back for Fiorentina within two to three weeks after having surgery on his hand.

The 28-year-old midfielder fractured his metacarpal on Wednesday and required the insertion of a metal plate.

D'Agostino has been on the bench for six of Fiorentina's last seven games, so it's debatable how much of a loss he is to Sinisa Mihajlovic.

However, his reputation as a big summer signing means fans are anxious to see that he plays, especially with Fiorentina struggling this season.
