Diego Simeone has taken responsibility for Catania's 3-0 defeat away to Fiorentina on Sunday.

El Cholo has won just twice in Serie A since he replaced Marco Giampaolo in January.

"It's all my fault," he said. "I take every responsibility.

"Unfortunately this team hasn't managed to get a result away from home for a long time.

"I have an idea on this, but I prefer to keep it to myself."

Fiorentina Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic believes his former Lazio teammate has what it takes to turn things around.

"Simeone will save Catania, of that I am sure," he said.
