Gigi Buffon has revealed that he intends to stay at Juventus and also plans to marry his long-term partner Alena Seredova.

There has been speculation that Juventus might have to sell Buffon if they fail to qualify for next year's Champions League.

Interviewed in Chi, Buffon said: "I also followed Juve into Serie B. The fans have an unconditional love for me.

"As for the future, I am closer to the idea of staying. I hope that Alessandro Del Piero stays too.

"He is a player who comes before everything in the history of Juventus."
