Javier Zanetti hailed “intelligent Coach” Leonardo and is looking ahead to Inter's Scudetto challenge.
The Nerazzurri seemed dead and buried in terms of the title race in December, but the dismissal of Rafa Benitez has transformed the squad.
“Thanks to the work of an intelligent Coach like Leo, I am sure the team can grow even more,” said the captain on Sky Sport Italia.
“On top of that, we no longer have 12 injured players like we did in November, as that really penalised us in the League.
“There's still a long way to go and there are another 10 games from here to the end of the season. We will fight to the bitter end for this objective.”
Inter are also still capable of retaining their Champions League trophy, despite the 1-0 first leg defeat to Bayern Munich.
“We must not let ourselves be fooled by the current Bayern results, even if many say they are in crisis. It'll be a very tough second leg, but we are going to Munich for the victory.”
