Fabio Quagliarella reassures he could make his Juventus comeback very soon and “the injury was in my destiny.”
The striker had been on fine form before snapping knee ligaments on January 6, ruling him out for the rest of the season, but he could recover earlier than expected.
“I do miss training, my teammates and the match situation. I feel great and the knee is reacting well to all the work we're doing,” he told Juventus.com.
“It was my first major surgery, so I didn't know how my body would react and everything was a big question mark in my mind. Slowly I saw an improvement every day and relaxed a little.
“I am always concentrated on my knee and the feelings I experience when making certain movements, checking there is nothing wrong.
“I'm lucky to be able to count on the Juventus medical staff, who are among the best in the world. I feel this injury was in my destiny.”
