Serie A: Post-Match Comments

Cagliari 0-4 Udinese

Roberto Donadoni: “It's an ugly defeat, but we want to get back on track from Sunday. Udinese were amazing today, but we helped them by not playing very well.”

Francesco Guidolin: “It's another very good performance and a step up in the table. We carry on, will try to win more games and see where we end up.”

Catania 1-0 Sampdoria

Diego Simeone: “I am happy with this victory, but we must always play with this determination, even on our travels. Cristian Llama's goal was wonderful and he deserved to have this joy.”

Alberto Cavasin: “The result could've been different and they hardly ever had a shot on goal. The time will come in which we win all these balanced encounters.”

Chievo 0-1 Fiorentina

Stefano Pioli: “We played badly in the first half, then conceded an entirely avoidable goal. The team tried to react and deserved a point.”

Sinisa Mihajlovic: “We are getting some important players back to full fitness and you can see the results. We put in a fine performance today, but should've been more clinical.”

Genoa 1-0 Palermo

Davide Ballardini: “We created many chances in the first half, then allowed Palermo a little more room, albeit without running risks. It was a difficult victory, but a deserved one.”

Serse Cosmi: “We proved today that we want to get out of this difficult time. The draw would've been a fair result and we are improving. It's a shame almost all the goals I've conceded at Palermo have been offside. Maybe against Milan we can score one offside too.”

Lecce 0-1 Bologna

Gigi De Canio: “The team did everything it could, but we were unlucky. Towards the end of the match we got tense and couldn't keep a clear head.”

Alberto Malesani: “Gaston Ramirez finally played the way he should, attacking and defending. Marco Di Vaio sets the example for him. I'd like us to be in the top half of the table.”
