Lavezzi: 'Napoli are ambitious'

Ezequiel Lavezzi is not hiding the fact “Napoli are ambitious and want to fight for important targets.”

The Partenopei fought back from 1-0 down at half-time to conquer Parma 3-1 this evening, taking them within a point of second-placed Inter.

“There's no point hiding it. Napoli are ambitious and want to fight for important targets this season,” said the striker.

‘Pocho' was returning from a three-match ban and had an immediate impact, scoring a goal and setting up another for Marek Hamsik.

“The team was decisive, not me. I did miss the playing field, as I always want to play and I felt bad at leaving my teammates in this difficult time.

“After a poor first half, we stepped out on to the pitch in a different way and gave it our all to earn the victory.”
