Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik insists his side are doing their utmost to finish as high as possible this season.
The Partenopei got back to winning ways at the weekend with a fine 3-1 win away to relegation strugglers Parma.
Napoli are now just seven points behind Serie A leaders Milan and look likely to qualify for next year's Champions League.
"It was a difficult match," Hamsik said. "We played on a pitch that was made heavy by the rain.
"We created more in the first half then Parma scored. We got back into it after the interval by going on the attack and we were good at reacting and winning."
Asked to describe his goal, Hamsik said: "I know that Lavezzi wouldn't strike the ball hard. In fact he gave the ball to me right on my foot and I kicked it over the `keeper. Seeing the replay again, I was offside, but these things have often gone against us.
"We want to stay up high in the table and fight it out with Milan, Inter and Lazio. It will be a great fight until the end.
"Now Cagliari are coming to San Paolo and we'll think about that from Tuesday onwards," he concluded.
