Udinese's Giovanni Pasquale has been given a two-match ban for insulting the referee, while Juventus defender Marco Motta won't face his Roma ex-teammates.
The Disciplinary Commission inflicted a two-game suspension on Pasquale, who was sent off from the bench in Udinese's 1-0 defeat in Catania.
The referee's report confirmed he had insulted the officials, while Coach Francesco Guidolin was fined €4,000 for hurling abuse.
Juventus defender Motta will be suspended against his former club when Roma pay a visit to Turin on Saturday evening.
The other Serie A players on a one-match ban are Pablo Ledesma (Catania), Bostjan Cesar (Chievo), Kevin Constant (Chievo Verona), Walter Gargano (Napoli) and Giampiero Pinzi (Udinese).
