UEFA have punished Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi with a three-match ban after he was caught on camera elbowing Shakhtar full-back Darijo Srna.
The incident happened during the second leg of last week's Champions League second round clash at the Donbas Arena, which resulted in Roma's elimination.
De Rossi was brought to book by video evidence after the referee and his assistants failed to see the elbow and ended up giving Srna a yellow card instead.
Roma will now be without De Rossi for three Champions League matches. He is not ineligible for any other international competitions.
