Roberto Donadoni returns to face the Napoli side that sacked him, but is not out for revenge. “I am only interested in Cagliari's success.”
The Coach was fired just seven months into his spell at the San Paolo, which lasted from March to October 2009, making way for current boss Walter Mazzarri.
“I am only interested in Cagliari's success,” assured Donadoni ahead of tonight's meeting.
“I have many memories of Napoli, but I am not seeking revenge. I am happy to be working in an important club like Cagliari and have nothing against Mazzarri.”
Nene, Francesco Pisano and the suspended Davide Astori are all ruled out of this match.
“The situation does limit my options. In any case, whoever goes on to the pitch will do their duty. We must certainly keep tight and not allow Napoli the counter-attack.
“The mistakes we made in the 4-0 defeat to Udinese must be a teachable moment. We're facing a quality side and want to make up for last week's loss.”
