In an incredible turnaround, Torino have sacked Giuseppe Papadopulo after just 11 days and brought back Franco Lerda.
The club and President Urbano Cairo announced its shock decision this evening after Papadopulo managed two consecutive defeats on the bench.
Toro sacked the Coach “and his staff,” bringing back Lerda to the post he was fired from 11 days ago.
“It's true, I have been dismissed,” Papadopulo told Tuttomercatoweb. “I did not offer to resign.”
This is sure to further infuriate the Turin-based media, most notably Tuttosport, and the Granata fans.
Bearing that in mind, President Cairo told Tuttosport he will leave the club in June.
Torino are currently in 10th place on level terms with Piacenza and have lost four on the trot.
