Marseille left-back Taye Taiwo has flirted with Milan, telling reporters in France that he'd like a move to San Siro this summer.
The Nigeria international is out of contract at the end of the season and will not extend his existing deal with Marseille.
Speaking to Canal Foot Club, he said: "I am honoured by the interest of top European clubs. Milan are my No 1 option."
The 25-year-old has also been linked with a move to Atletico Madrid.
Milan are known to have a weakness at the full-back position, which they tried to address in the Janaury transfer window with the signing of Didac Vila from Espanyol.
