Fiorentina striker Adrian Mutu claims that he has finally matured after a difficult year in Serie A.
The Romania international was banned for nine months after failing a doping test.
Then, shortly after making his comeback, he fell out with Fiorentina and was frozen out of the squad.
Mutu apologised for leaving training without permission and is back on form.
"I am happy again, even if I am conscious of the great responsibility that I have," Mutu said.
"My career would have been different if I hadn't committed so many mistakes.
"Now it's up to me to conclude it in the best way possible. I am a different man.
"I feel like a different and better person.
"I have always been considered a decisive player. When I am no longer I will stop playing."
