Siena boss Antonio Conte is the favourite for the Juventus job this summer, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The former midfielder who spent 13 seasons at Juventus as a player and captain has seen his stock rise again.
Juventus' No 1 choice for the job is thought to be Luciano Spalletti, but getting their man is proving difficult.
Spalletti is tied down to a lucrative contract at Zenit St Petersburg and extricating the former Roma Coach would be expensive.
Hence the decision to turn to Conte who is known for playing 4-4-2 and producing good football as well as getting results.
Conte was among the contenders for the job in each of the last two summers but missed out to Ciro Ferrara and Gigi Del Neri.
Siena are currently second in Serie B and look like winning automatic promotion to the top-flight, a feat Conte also achieved with Bari.
