Palermo striker Fabrizio Miccoli hopes to win the Sicilian derby against Catania for the club's fans.
The Rosanero have endured a difficult start to 2011, but recently inflicted defeat on League leaders Milan.
"We are aware of how much this game means to our fans," Miccoli told the club's official website.
"Everyone wants to give a big performance above all to make our fans happy.
"I hope to be able to repay their affection with a goal.
"I am happy that are supporters are allowed to follow us to the Massimino.
"Grit, determination and concentration will be decisive weapons in our efforts to give the fans a happy away day."
