Roma will rekindle their interest in Koln striker Lucas Podolski this summer, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The 25-year-old Germany international has fallen within Roma sights before and has hinted at leaving the Bundesliga at the end of the season.
Roma director of sport Daniele Prade is said to be a keen admirer, although it remains unclear whether he will still be in a job following the club's takeover.
Il Corriere also understands that Roma have made an inquiry about Fiorentina right-sided playmaker Mario Santana.
The 29-year-old Argentine is out of contract in the summer and appears on a shortlist that includes the name of Udinese's Mauricio Isla.
