Udinese are only six points adrift of Milan, but Francesco Guidolin keeps cool. “We're not in the Scudetto race, but want the Champions League.”
The Friulani are unbeaten in 2011 and completed an amazing comeback to fly into fourth place.
This weekend could be crucial, as the top two face off in the Milan derby and Napoli welcome fifth-placed Lazio.
“The Scudetto is a three-horse race. We are too far behind, so we do not feel involved,” insisted Guidolin ahead of Udinese's trip to Lecce.
“Considering the campaign we are having, the team deserves a ticket to Europe. The Champions League would be a triumph.
“I am worried about how starved of points Lecce must be. Their position in the table does not reflect the quality of their football. It is a good side and Gigi De Canio has formed a squad that fears nobody.”
