Alexandre Pato is ready to welcome Zlatan Ibrahimovic back into the Milan line-up. "It's not true that I play better without him."
Ibra has been ruled out of the last two games with suspension, but he wasn't missed in the Meazza derby as Pato scored twice in the 3-0 win over Inter.
That performance reinforced some people's view that the Brazilian shines brighter without the Swede alongside him, but the youngster has rejected that claim.
"It's not true that I play better without him," he noted. "His return to the side will make us even stronger and that is vital."
Milan are now five points clear of Inter, but Napoli's victory means the Azzurri are only three points adrift of the Rossoneri.
"The derby victory was important, but there are still seven games left and we can't make an error in any of them," Pato added.
Milan travel to Tuscany next weekend for a potentially tricky tie against Sinisa Mihajlovic's Fiorentina.
