Maxi Lopez is ignoring talk of a move away from Catania and is concentrating on Sunday's trip to Bari.
The 27-year-old Argentine has scored seven goals this season and is attracting interest from Italy's biggest clubs.
"I hope to get to at least 10, approaching my tally last season, but I am imposing no limits on myself," Maxi told Il Corriere dello Sport.
"Who knows [if I will be allowed to leave in the summer]? I am happy at Catania.
"That's a question for the club, not me."
Asked about Sunday's Sicilian derby, which Catania won 4-0, he said: "The fans can celebrate this important piece of history that we have written in Catania's football history, but we have the job of thinking about survival and not getting ourselves distracted."
