Marek Jankulovski has probably played his last game for Milan, as knee surgery will keep him out for six months.
The veteran's contract expires at the end of the season and he had broken back into the first team before tearing ligaments in his left knee.
Today the official club website confirmed “Jankulovski underwent surgery to his left knee.
“The operation, performed at the Humanitas Rozzano institute by Professor Volpi's team, was a success.
“His recovery time is expected to be around six months.”
