Massimo Ambrosini is out of contract and has been linked with Chelsea and Tottenham, but his agent insists “he wants to stay with Milan.”
The midfielder, who was the captain before a six-week spell on the sidelines, will be a free agent when his current deal expires on June 30.
Newspapers in England and Italy have linked Ambrosini with potential summer Bosman transfers to Carlo Ancelotti's Chelsea or even Tottenham.
“There is no news with regards to the contract renewal and we are waiting for a call from the Rossoneri directors,” agent Moreno Roggi told ilsussidiario.net.
“I can say that the player's intention is to continue this adventure at San Siro. He wants to stay with Milan.”
