Catania general manager Pietro Lo Monaco doesn't believe Maurizio Zamparini will sell Palermo. “I've lost count of how many times he's pulled this stunt.”
The Sicilian derby is this afternoon and the attention has been all on the Rosanero President's threats to walk away from football in protest at refereeing decisions.
“I can understand Zamparini's disappointment considering the way their defeat to Milan went, but I don't think he will really leave,” said Lo Monaco.
“It was just a momentary chance to blow off steam. In fact, I've lost count of how many times he's pulled this stunt.”
Palermo fans have announced a march through the streets to support Zamparini before the match.
The President will be in the stands for the Derby di Sicilia.
