Edy Reja is pleased that Lazio are back in fourth place, while President Claudio Lotito sets up “a task force to check on the final six rounds.”
The Biancocelesti leapfrogged Udinese to recapture a Champions League spot after beating Parma 2-0.
“Parma played well and it was very difficult for us, especially as we didn't put in a particularly good performance,” said the Coach.
“I hope Parma can stay up, as they are a positive side. In the race for fourth, I think Roma are more of a threat, as things are going their way right now.”
That was interpreted by some as a veiled reference to the refereeing decisions in last night's game against Udinese.
President Lotito made it more explicit by declaring he would put lawyers and analysts on every Serie A match that has a say in Lazio's future.
“We should have confidence, as the team must give all its determination for this important objective: the Champions League.
“Lazio have prepared a task force to check how the final six rounds develop. I trust the institutions and respect the rules, but if by chance there should be something that goes awry, then I will ask for verification.”
