Giuseppe Mascara, whose goal set up a precious 2-0 victory in Bologna, thinks there is nothing more beautiful in Serie A than Napoli.
The Partenopei laid down the gauntlet to League leaders Milan on Sunday afternoon and remain three points behind with six games of the season remaining.
"I was very happy," Mascara said. "It's a special kind of happiness because I was aware that until now I hadn't given what I know I can give.
"Right now I'd like to thank my teammates, the club and the Coach. They've all been close to me.
"This was a difficult game against a Bologna side coming off a defeat unwilling to lose again and they were at home. They cared about making a good impression, but we knew that it was important for us. I felt something in the air.
"I have never found myself in a situation of this nature and I don't dare imagine what reception the fans have in store for us next Sunday. I was so impressed by the crowd against Lazio and Bologna. I have seen what this city is capable of.
"I am living a fantastic moment with unforgettable memories."
