Totti: Next two games fundamental

Roma's talismanic captain Francesco Totti believes the next two games in Serie A will help determine whether his side qualify for next year's Champions League.

Totti has been in excellent form of late, scoring six goals in his last four appearances for Roma, who face Palermo and Chievo at home.

Writing in Il Corriere dello Sport, Totti revealed his feeling that Roma have a chance to make up even more ground on Lazio and Udinese.

"The next two games are fundamental in our bid for fourth place especially in light of the head-to-head matches between our competitors," Totti wrote.

"Our fans are holding their breath but in the end we hope to give them a beautiful present. For this reason in the next two games at the Olimpico we need their support.

"As ever we hope to have them by our side."
