Sneijder aims for Scudetto and Coppa

Wesley Sneijder has refused to be downbeat after Inter's exit from the Champions League and plans to fight for the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia.

Leonardo's side went to Gelsenkirchen 5-2 down on aggregate, but couldn't overturn the deficit and ended up losing again only this time 2-1.

"Now we are going forward," Sneijder said. "We want to win the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia.

"We believed in winning last night, but we knew that it would be difficult.

"We created several chances but lacked a quick goal and when you don't score goals it's difficult.

"I'd like to once again thank the fans for applauding us. They have always been with us.

"Now we have to play at our maximum for them in the League and the Coppa Italia.

"We have to forget about this elimination and concentrate on the objectives that remain.

"We are looking forward," he concluded.
