Silvio Berlusconi calmed the Cristiano Ronaldo speculation he started this week. “I've invested over €70m in Milan.”
The President, and Prime Minister of Italy, had declared over the past few days that he was seriously considering an offer for Real Madrid star Ronaldo.
There were many reports suggesting Zlatan Ibrahimovic or Alexandre Pato could be used as part of an exchange deal.
“Do you know how much money I've put into this club?” Berlusconi told students during a meet-and-greet in Pavia.
“I have already invested over €70m in Milan and have to balance the books with my family too.
“For the moment we won't even talk about new signings.”
