Colomba 'believes' in Inter upset

Franco Colomba says Parma can get a shock result against Inter this evening, “but we've got to believe.”

The Ducali are sliding towards relegation and welcome a Nerazzurri side still smarting from their Champions League exit.

“Inter have problems, ambitious and objectives that are no bigger than ours,” insisted Coach Colomba, who replaced Pasquale Marino last week.

“We will try to put in a performance worthy of our opponents, but also for our prestige and desire to do well.

“What motivation can be stronger than the battle for safety? Obviously facing a side like Inter can fire people up even more, but we have nothing to prove to others. First of all we must play for ourselves, as without character you won't get far.

“I am working above all on the minds of my players, as I am convinced that is the first and most important element, especially with six rounds left. We can beat Inter, but we've got to believe.”
